I decided to get this tattoo in May at Stranded Tattoo, Savannah, GA. This is a quote from one of my favorite animations, Tekkonkinkreet. I struggle with dysthymia, so its just a constant reminder to be happy even when I’m feeling at my worst.

This is a full picture of the sleeve I have on my right arm. Most of it inspired by the movie Mirrormask and my love of fall weather (hence the leaves.) All work was done by Tim Biedron, formerly of Deluxe Tattoo, now of Pioneer Tattoo in Chicago, IL.

This is my newest tattoo. I’m an artist, I wanted a tattoo that portrayed my passion for art, but with such an abstract concept, it took awhile to pinpoint the image. I started doing some simple figure drawing and added a splash of watercolor in the background, as you see in the first picture. After many trial versions and deliberation, and extensive tattoo artist research, I finally got it done. The artists’ execution of my vision was flawless. I couldn’t be happier it with it. I’m soooo excited for it every day. My artist was Emilio Saylor at Umbrella Ink in Valparaiso, Indiana.
